UNITY DAY 2021
"The Hawaiʻi State Student Council is a platform for everyone. As we come together in solidarity on Unity Day, we take a stand against bullying. Creating an atmosphere of safety and inclusion is important for a Council that represents over 165,000 students in the State of Hawaiʻi. We may vary in a lot of ways, but baring the values of mutual respect and compromise helps us feel more connected with each other. Bullying or any form of harassment that threatens a person’s freedom of expression and dignity will never be condoned. We are sending a statement today that no one deserves to be bullied, and denouncing those who do." ---Chairperson Enjl Himoya
