The Driver and Traffic Safety Education Program (DTSEP) is responsible for providing traffic safety education for all students (K-12) to reduce injuries and fatalities on our highways. This includes preventive safety and rider education related to pedestrian crosswalks, bicycles, school buses and vehicles. The DTSEP has partnered with the Hawaii Concussion Awareness Management Program and the Hawaii State Student Council. They will host the following virtual events for secondary students in grades 9-12: |

The goals of the training are to:
1. Increase and promote awareness of youth traffic safety issues;
2. Provide an opportunity for youth to interact with high school teen educators from across the state; and
3. Encourage advocacy in the schools and community on youth traffic safety and health issues.
