An in-person pre-conference opportunity for this year’s SLC participants will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 5:00 pm. The pre-conference event is co-hosted by the Hawaiʻi Student Activities Association and will provide an opportunity for student networking prior to the start of SLC. ABOUT HSAA
What is the Hawaii Student Activities Association?
The HSAA is comprised of Student Activities Coordinators and supporters (school principals, class advisors, and more) with the following purposes:
- To foster a closer personal and professional relationship among co-curricular advisors.
- To assume an active role in helping people to understand co-curricular activities and their place and purpose in the educational program.
- To share educational and professional materials for the purpose of raising the standards for all who work in co-curricular activities.
- To strengthen the educational process by formulating programs and policies that positively affect student activities.
- To assume an active role in soliciting support and resources from all segments of government and the general public to improve co-curricular activities.
- To encourage members to carry out their professional responsibilities for the general welfare of our students in Hawaii.
- To represent all student activities coordinators and advisors to all other groups.
