The Hawaii State Student Council has made a decision to suspend activities for SY 2019-2020. There will be no in-person HSSC meetings or gatherings until further notice. The safety and well-being of our student members and coordinators far outweigh any risks we are willing to take and we have decided to cease travel for council purposes. There will be no negative consequences placed on members during this time.
Once we are able to continue with our regular program, we will evaluate our options and determine the best process and way to resume normalcy.
As student leaders and advisors, we realize our best course of action is to remain rational and act systematically. We focus on what we are currently able to control and look forward to what will do in the near future. With that, the unfortunate circumstances provides us with an opportunity to utilize our website and social media accounts to share program updates, information and ideas. We hope you will check-in with us and for the time being follow the advice of our health experts and stay physically and mentally strong and healthy.
